Educational Installation

Los antiguos pueblos andinos de Perú, Bolivia y Chile tenían extraordinarias formas de comunicarse en el territorio sin necesidad de la escritura ni el idioma, en este contexto, el museo de Arte Precolombino de Chile creó la exposición “La fiesta de las imágenes en los Andes”, que da conocer su riqueza y diversidad de sus sistemas de comunicación, reflexionar sobre su permanencia en nuestra sociedad y deleitarse siendo parte de una verdadera fiesta de las imágenes.

The ancient Andean peoples of Peru, Bolivia and Chile had extraordinary ways of communicating in the territory without the need of writing or language, in this context, the Pre-Columbian Art Museum of Chile created the exhibition “The festival of images in the Andes”, that gives to know its wealth and diversity of its systems of communication, to reflect on its permanence in our society and to be delighted being part of a true celebration of the images.

Es aquí donde la fundación Mustakis por medio de Convergencia crea una exposición interactiva en el espacio ZIM Precolombino, en la cual diseñamos y desarrollamos dos experiencias educativas, que nos permitieran acercar al espectador a esta increíble muestra y sus contenidos.

It is here where the Mustakis foundation through Convergence creates an interactive exhibition in the ZIM Pre-Columbian space, in which we designed and developed two educational experiences that would allow us to bring the spectator closer to this incredible exhibition and its contents.

Misión Chasqui

Chasqui Mission

Mediante un juego educativo, buscamos que los visitantes conozcan a estos corredores y su importante misión “llevar los mensajes importantes a través del imperio”, los que transportaban un vaso ceremonial de madera llamado Quero y que en sus ornamentación representaban las noticias más importantes a los diferentes puntos de la región.

Through an educational game, we search for visitors to meet these runners and their important mission “to carry the important messages through the empire”, which carried a ceremonial wooden vessel called Quero and in its ornamentation represented the most important news to the different points of the region.

El quipu es un instrumento andino que almacenaba la contabilidad y los mensajes en el imperio que también erans transportados por el Chasqui y por medio de esta aplicación los visitantes logran entender los mensajes de este instrumento de forma didáctica, simple e intuitiva.

The quipu is an Andean instrument accounting and stored messages in the empire erans also carried by the Chasqui and through this application visitors learn to understand the messages of this instrument in a didactic, simple and intuitive
